128: Actually, I don't really get why anyone likes any of the characters in EVA, really. But I kind of thought that was the point. I have a strange fondness for the show (maybe because it was my first anime, but) despite the fact that basically all of the characters are incredibly flawed in some way, and not in endearing ways either. They're human.

139: the most recent chapters make me glad I actually caught up after the dry spell in scanlations around chapter 60-something. (or maybe I was looking in the wrong places) Seriously, I didn't realize it could get EVEN BETTER than it already was. asldsalk;asdl;k Yes. Cheering for them too.

146: I...really wasn't sure whether to take this seriously or not, but I'll give the OP the benefit of the doubt.

I'm 5' 10" and about 160 lbs, and I am nowhere near overweight. First of all, muscle weighs more than fat, so if you're in good shape, you'll weigh more. Second, assuming you're a girl--girls have extra weight in front. It's uh...normal? It's really not worth beating yourself up over at all.

(though my initial reaction makes me think this secret has a sarcastic tone; I mean, why would you turn to throwing up if you've been losing weight the right way, healthily? Do you know what that does to the lining of your esophogas?)

Weight is NOT ALWAYS an indicator of how healthy you are...

146 - IAWTC, although I also wanted to say... Sometimes, when weight is an indicator of how healthy you are, it is an illness that is causing you to be overweight. My sister and I both suffer from hypothyroidism and PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), both of which cause people to gain weight. We eat healthy and exercise. We do everything you're supposed to do to maintain a healthy diet and lose weight... and I've gained 20 pounds this year anyway.

Ah, I didn't know about that condition; that's very unfortunate. :/ But I was mostly responding to the fact that the secret seemed to be about problems with self-image rather than an illness. So yes. And my best wishes to you and your sister. D:
