True, if I was gonna bang one, it's be Asuka. I NEVER got the Rei love. Ever.

But yeah, Asuka's CRAZY, but she's...intresting. I think the reason it works for me is because everyone in the show has pretty much the same opinion we do. ~~Except they probably enjoy living through it less...~~

Plus, if the show was Shinji and Rei oh JESUS the passive aggressive. She needs to be so strong to balance that out.

It definitely helps that most everyone views Asuka as the bitch that she is and not some bitch that everyone magically loves instead (looking at you, harem anime). And yes, I hate to bring it all down to "Which of the 14 year old girls would I prefer to fuck?" but I do think that is a major factor to why a lot of people do like Asuka. She'd either kick your ass if you tried, or give you a run for your money. Rei would just lie back and stare glassy-eyed at the ceiling. Ick.
