I had the bootleg version, the CHILLA CHILLA in Orange. I loved that you. I found the actual Furby disturbing.

Thank you :D I haven't finished it yet but I intend to post it under the furby fandom on ao3 when I'm done (archiveofourown.org/tags/Furby (Toys)/works)

On tumblr someone I followed started reblogging custom furbies and I got interested as an outsider. It lead to going on youtube and down a rabbit hole of videos where I ended up watching the glitches of the 2012 furbies. I was impressed by how creative people get for making their own furbies and just how much thought that went into some of the personalities of their furbies.
