Because this argument never admits that the men are just boring and hot. It's almost always "they're just better written".

Citation needed? I almost always get "I find them more interesting" or "I just like them better" as an answer and that's valid in my view.

AYRT I don't have a problem if it was just "I like them better". It's "they're more interesting" that I take issue with, because in cases like this, I fail to see where it's true.

Besides, finding someone hot or sexually attractive can be a form of interest. A strong one.
