Man... I am so tired of this sentiment. Nobody looks at the creative side of cishet male-dominated fandoms and goes "lol they sure do love the women" because they focus fanart and fanworks and porn on boring women they find attractive, while ignoring interesting men. No one wonders when they will start seeing how intruiguing male leads are, or writing slash fanfic, either.

So why do people constantly expect fandoms full of mostly straight women to be different somehow regarding men they find attractive?

People are gonna do art and fic and porn and whatever of people and ships they find attractive 'cause sexuality is a thing.
