I always get derailed by thinking about how long it takes to make a movie even if said movie got optioned, written and greenlit and I worry my fancasts will be the wrong age by then.

Or that they wouldn't want the part. There's a movie/tv series I'd love to see made, and I know exactly who I want in the lead but it's a gay role and I worry the actor won't want to do it.

Or I worry about appropriate levels of star power-is this on tv? Is it a blockbuster studio thing or an indie?
