Because we got her character development told to us in reverse, and through such a narrow lens, like... there's SO much about her that I still want to know, but it seems like a LOT of people who lack critical media literacy skills are just going to write her off and ignore the fact that she DID learn and grow a lot during even just her last few years on Earth. It's a shame we don't get to see more of that journey because I also find her really interesting and not entirely unsympathetic despite her mistakes and the harm she caused.
