I have trouble getting into podcasts too. To be perfectly honest I think part of it is that my hearing isn't what it used to be and I can't listen to them while doing something else like some people can or I miss stuff. I know I'm missing out on some good stuff - I did manage to finish the first season of Within the Wires and I loved it - but I can't be in every fandom I guess.
