FUCKIN SIGNED MAN if there's anything I hate it's "presentation," where the look is more important than the flavor. I disagree with every so-called pro chef that claims you eat with your eyes before your palate; so many cultures have classic recipes, comfort food, etc, that looks terrible or at best "blah" but we all fuckin love 'em and you can pry those recipes from our cold dead hands.

I've never actually seen this guy but the way the cooking subreddit sucks his dick makes me automatically hate him. If he's re-creating stupid-looking fictional food, I'll dislike him even more.

Haha, he does try and recreate fictional foods from all sorts of media which are a lot of the episodes I skip because honestly I don't care, but he also does a series called "Basics with Babish" that I find super informative and they never seem condescending in the way some "beginner" cooking channels can be.
