Re: Question for Classic Doctor Who fans

(Anonymous) 2020-04-07 12:39 pm (UTC)(link)
I've been a fan of the good Doctor ever since there was only four of them. (I'm afraid the Brigadier has me beat by a good country mile, though!) I started watching Doctor Who on my local PBS station and have been an off-again on-again Whovian ever since.

Four is my Doctor, and I love all the episodes that mention jelly babies. (Even the New Who ones.)

Ten is my next favorite. "The Girl in the Fireplace" really showcases David Tennnant's acting abilities.

Five is next.

Why? I saw Peter Davidson at a Doctor Who convention in Boston. He had the guts to admit in public that he couldn't recite Shakespeare worth beans. Imagine - a British actor saying that Shakespeare confused the living daylights out of him. That took genuine courage, as far as I'm concerned.
