(Anonymous) 2020-04-07 05:23 pm (UTC)(link)Which annoys the shit out of me, as a cis woman who has come in for a lot of shit from cis men, because maybe non-cis AMAB people are more likely to be abusive than all AFAB at birth people, (I actually don’t know, I’ve never seen studies or statistics on this and abuse by cis women tends to be underreported) but when it comes to individual abuse cases, that shit doesn’t matter.
Anyone can be an abuser, anyone can be a victim. Are their specific patterns that are more common? Yep. Does that mean that people who are statistically more likely to be victims can’t be abusers? Fuck off.
