Ok, Easter, sure, but Easter Sunday? Good Friday? at the start of Good Friday or the end? When do you get to go back to you're vices?

Well...you should try your best to avoid those vices even after the fact lol, but we've entered Holy Week, and Lent is 40 days starting Ash Wednesday so I'm guessing it technically ended on Monday April 6. But Holy Week is supposed to be a time of prayer and really just trying to pay attention...so it's supposed to be helping you avoid those vices anyway and be more true to your heart, being in front of what Easter and Lent mean.

I should know when it ends, but generally, I act like it's not over until Easter Sunday/solemn Friday and Saturday.

Good Friday is a day of mourning, it's definitely the wrong day to start indulging in pleasures.

Lent ends on Palm Sunday but Holy Week is a somber period of reflection, prayer and mourning up until Easter Sunday proper. Good Friday is the day of the crucifixion itself, and Friday and Saturday are traditionally meant to be fast days. Sunday, the day of the resurrection, would be the proper day to end fasts and similar practices.

Technically? 3PM on Friday, but Holy Week proper doesn't end until Easter, so save the hookers and blow for Monday.

Can I have it, and have it look good on me? like is this hypothetical a magical thing where clothes just somehow start to look good on me? or does have to be realistic.

Cause if it's magical... You ever see the MCR music Video for Black Parade? The goth marching bad look the main guy wears. With the epaulettes. I'd wear that if I could guarantee it would look good on me. Otherwise... I mean, I'm probably going to look foolish.

And if it's REALLY magical... Zorro. I want Zorros costume. Hat and Mask combo. Fantastic.

If I could have all the costumes I want by, idk, snapping my fingers, or waving a wand, or something, I would also need a bigger house. Possibly with archival climate control. But I’ll start by saying Once Upon a Time Rumplestiltskin’s season 1 crocodile coat and leather ensemble, because I can’t work leather. OUAT Belle’s second yellow ballgown, because I can’t find the fabric anywhere.

Theoretically I could make a lot of the others, assuming I did nothing but eat, sleep, and sew for a couple of years. Maybe Christine’s blue dress from the ALW Phantom of the Opera, even though I’ve already made a replica, because even the available replica fabric isn’t available in silk and I doubt I could successfully screen print that much yardage. It would certainly be more comfy and lighter than my cheap polyester replica.

I'd love to wear the elvish outfits from Lord of the Rings or the Jedi robes. But in terms of real-world things that I could get away with and still look good, I'd love to dress like Emily Prentiss. She always looks amazing and like she's the boss.

My dog passed away this morning. I cried before, when I found out she had cancer, and I'm grateful my family and I didn't have to put her down and she went in her sleep. I cried when I saw her, and I'll probably cry again later. But for now, I just want to think about the good times I had with her, and not think about how much I'm going to miss all the small things about her, because I already do.

So I just wanted others to share with me the memories of their pets (or other happy things) that put a smile on their face.

My girl just loves to be near us. She's not a lap cat, but she's a "I need to be in the room with one of my humans most of the time" cat. And she just loves to share her excitement for all things kitty with us. Her joy and enthusiasm are my favorite memories of her. She loves going out on the porch to watch the birds in the feeder, but she'll always stop in the doorway and look at me to see if I'll follow her because she'd really like to share the awesomeness of the porch with me. Sometimes I'll go out there and read just to make her happy.

She's a little acrobat. She can't play the easy way. When we play with her favorite string toy, she has to play with it at her cat tree so she can climb and jump all over and around it. It is just the cutest thing. And the look on her face is just the pure joy of the hunt.

It is amusing the places she'll get up onto in her quest to find the highest resting place. Her old favorite before we removed those shelves was my dad's record shelves. She'd get up onto the fireplace mantle and from there jump to the top of the record shelves. At that height she was basically touching the ceiling. We've found her inside top bookshelves wondering how she possibly got there. She'll get up in the top shelve of my closet and explore there. She's a climber. She wants to be queen of the world and look down over her subjects.
