So was Lost a good or a bad ending? I've heard a lot of people say they hated it....

It's divisive. I feel like there's a lot of bagagge attached to Lost, lots of different expectations depending on the viewer and what they personally thought the show was and what it should be, a lot down to how it was marketed and talked about... all that really affects what people thought of the ending. I love it, it's really memorable and emotional and pretty bold, but yeah, divisive as heck.

Great show, imo. And The Leftovers was even better.

I watched I think a season and a half of Lost and just...got frustrated and bored, so I would probably not enjoy the ending, heh. I thought it was an interesting premise but...the execution left me cold.

I thought the execution was pretty poor too and I couldn't tell you much of what happened in the first 3 seasons. The 3rd season finale however introduced a twist that changed the show.

The next few seasons after that were absolutely bonkers and I love, love, loved them. The final season felt like a disappointment to me because so much had been promised but very little delivered on.

I think it would be interesting to rewatch from the 4th season and see if its as fun as I remember.

Man. I just...could not watch a show that long in the hopes it eventually picked up. I'm going to have to read a synopsis of the seasons and see what was going on. :D

I don't know that I watched every episode of the first 3 seasons. I'd tune in every now and be so bored I'd tune out before the episode ended. The 3rd season finale was the only episode that really caught my attention and drew me into the mystery.

Good luck reading through the synopsis'. Seasons 4 & 5 were absolutely insane. I remember having so much fun at the time trying to explain what was happening to friends who weren't watching and seeing them get more and more confused the more we discussed it.
