Enough people get shit on specifically for being Latine, that I don't think your nitpicking is at all helpful. What kind of gatekeeping is this, "you need to have X phenotype before it counts as discrimination?"

It's something that wouldn't exactly gel with a white identity in the US at least. Hispanic/latin as an ethnicity is complicated but racists don't really care that much about nuance, so discrimination could still come up.
