I'm in a similar situation with BTS, so I feel you on that OP.

Same. Had tickets for my vacation in may and even though they've postponed, who knows if I'll get time off work for the new tour dates?

I was this close to buying tickets for their show in Bologna, Italy. I'm glad I didn't! But I do have tickets for the Hella Mega Tour with Green Day, FOB & Weezer and I'm resigned to having those canceled.

I have tickets for the Hella Mega tour too! They were a birthday present and I was so excited ‘cause I love all three bands and me and my friend had a whole weekend planned in LA, but yeah, I don’t see that happening this year.

I understand. I was suppose to go to Seattle to see In This Moment for the second time in May, for my birthday.

They cancelled so hard.

I couldn't make the tour anyway, but I feel for everyone who managed to get tickets. It's rotten timing, OP. :(

If they postpone, aren't you guaranteed a ticket for the show on the new date? I dunno anything about concert tickets, so...i have no clue.

But i hope so! Good luck.

This is what I was thinking. Like people who have tickets would be owed them if they just postponed the concert? I'm curious to find this out as well.

(Anonymous) 2020-04-12 10:33 pm (UTC)(link)
I think that’s what usually happens, but sometimes the concert’s outright cancelled and refunded. Then, when new dates are announced, the original ticket goers have the chance to purchase tickets before the general public. Those MCR tickets went fast though and people had a hell of a time getting them with all the sites crashing, so who knows if they’re guaranteed a ticket next time? It could also be that OP might be worried they won’t make it to the new date. I have tickets for the Hella Mega tour and the only reason I got them is because the nearest date to me is on a Saturday. If it gets postponed and the new date is a Sunday or weekday, I won’t be able to go.

Sheesh, yeah, it could be a mess.
