No, I don't think you're entitled - it's so frustrating when there is no-one who shares your love of a ship. But (and please don't take this the wrong way - I'm not trying to be a dick) please please consider writing your own fic <3 For one, it is so satisfying. For two, it genuinely will encourage others to write the ship. Honestly - be brave :-D

And if you don't enjoy the act of writing, you can share heacanons and ideas to show that there's enthusiasm for your ship-- it might encourage someone who does enjoy writing to come out of hiding. Some people just need to know there's any kind of audience.
