Are you hanging in there? (I hope you are.)

Tell us all about it here.

Other than the stupid oak pollen that still won't go away, yes. Spent most of the day listening to music on Youtube. Spent the last hour in a zoom meeting with my Toastmasters group. Now going to get dinner for me and my kitty.

On the other hand, I've run out of my anxiety med. I've been off it 2 days now, and my pharmacy won't get any more in until tomorrow after 3. I've been okay until now, but I just started a panic attack.

My work schedules is Monday, Wednesday, and then like half of Thursday. It is very confusing to my brain. I've almost got four squares of my blanket done! So at least I was productive this week.

Every year I ask why I do this to myself, and then I eat a grocery store tomato and remember...

Depends on what kind you get. Some of them are good, you just have to pick the right kind.

That's true enough. I have pretty good luck getting cherry or grape tomatoes that taste good, but the large ones I'm terrible at. Kid you not, the best ones I've found were WalMart on-the-vine ones. Once. The next time they were mealy... :(

Ick. I generally don't shop at Walmart, though. HEB here is usually pretty good about having a good variety of produce.

Watching this video of Caitlin on Ask a Mortician ranting about sensationalization of mass burial in New York. This is giving my life and is weirdly calming.

https://youtu.be/zLl5yikUKfk

Warning for discussion of death and burial, in general and pandemic-related.

I went for a 45-minute run, yay! Afterwords I smoked a bowl and then took a long hot shower, which was very nice (I love a good stoned shower, lol). My husband did a grocery and drug store run this afternoon and got me an iced latte as a surprise, also very nice because it's been awhile since I had Starbucks. I'm having a shrimp Louis salad for dinner and I haven't decided if I want a beer or glass of wine with that yet. Probably going to watch Run this evening.

Okay. I have food, shelter, my health, and a job. (Crossing fingers that nothing disturbs this) Feeling a bit of relief upon hearing Wisconsin's primary results.

Went back to work today for the first time in a month. Bus this morning was terrifying because there wasn’t enough room to keep away from each other and most people weren’t wearing masks. Trolley wasn’t so bad; people didn’t have masks on, but there was enough room for me to stay away, and I tossed my gloves when I got to work.

I don’t think there’s enough stuff for all of us to keep busy for another month without being open to the public; my boss asked our area manager if we could bring sewing machines in and make masks and was told no.

I might contact our union tomorrow to ask if they could convince our higher ups that employees who take public transit should be allowed to transfer to locations they can walk or bike to until we reopen; I was texting a former coworker who also takes the bus and he said he was terrified, too.

It was good to see my coworkers again. One of them gave me a ride home, which was nice of her.

I don't have a job right now but I feel better than ever, emotionally. I've written a few very promising beginnings to some stories, and although I have no clue how to finish them, I feel like a writer for the first time in years. Other than that, just waiting on bureaucracy. I'd like to be legally married now kthx. Also I applied for unemployment and I think I'm supposed to get a call from them but the website was just like okay you're done so I'm like ????___????

Also still playing lots and lots and lots of ACNH.

Yes I'm doing okay, just wish I had more free time to do fandom stuff. Just two more days then I can relax and do some real hibernating at home. I can't wait. Thinks are quiet in my state, although people are generally tense. But staying at home away from all that helps a lot.

SA, also lucky that I have a job, even a part time one. I can maintain my health insurance and get some money to live on so that helps.

Insomnia, urgh.
I woke in the middle of the night--from an awesome fandom dream but woke up nonetheless and couldn't go back to sleep--now here am I, up at butt-early-o'clock, like, two hours earlier than my usual schedule, tired af and I already forgot the dream's best details.
I'd like to call a refund on this night, please.
