Depends on what kind you get. Some of them are good, you just have to pick the right kind.

That's true enough. I have pretty good luck getting cherry or grape tomatoes that taste good, but the large ones I'm terrible at. Kid you not, the best ones I've found were WalMart on-the-vine ones. Once. The next time they were mealy... :(

Ick. I generally don't shop at Walmart, though. HEB here is usually pretty good about having a good variety of produce.
