They don't think that person is bland because opinions differ and that is okay. Also, they find that celebrity is hot and hot can overpower a lot of bland.

Even 'hot' is subjective. One person may find a celebrity 'hot' while another person may find that same celebrity not hot or meh.

Oh totally. What I meant is they find them hot and that overpowers any blah they might see. Sometimes it is that way for me where I might think an actor is a bit dull but they are hot enough that I don't care.

Even if they do something bad, how does someone stay attracted to them? I don't get that at all.

Now that I don't know (depending on what it is). Bad things that matter to me are a deal breaker for me when it comes to attraction.

That makes sense. Likewise, but yes, even being 'bland' or 'basic' is also a deal breaker.
