Mmmm, that is a very visually pleasing loaf of bread.

Secret maker but not OP

Haha, I thought so, too. It comes from this:

nayrt

All I had to see was Martha Stewart! Now I know it's gonna be as good as it looks and I really want to make it! <3

Thanks for making my secret! That is a nice loaf of bread.

I mean, what does a "bland personality" look like to you in this context? Can you give some examples? 'Cause that sounds incredibly subjective... like I personally think Chris Evans is about as exciting as watching paint dry, but my friend thinks he's funny and charming and she likes how he posts about his dog all the time and such. Neither one of us is wrong, it's just different tastes.

Yeah it really depends on the celebrity. Besides him, there's Adam Driver, Helmsworth brothers, Timotheee Chalala, JLaw, Kristen Stewart, Scarjo, and whoever is the current hollywood "it" actor or actress of the month.

They don't find that celebrity bland.

They don't think that person is bland because opinions differ and that is okay. Also, they find that celebrity is hot and hot can overpower a lot of bland.

(Anonymous) 2020-04-17 03:12 am (UTC)(link)
Even 'hot' is subjective. One person may find a celebrity 'hot' while another person may find that same celebrity not hot or meh.

Oh totally. What I meant is they find them hot and that overpowers any blah they might see. Sometimes it is that way for me where I might think an actor is a bit dull but they are hot enough that I don't care.

Even if they do something bad, how does someone stay attracted to them? I don't get that at all.

Now that I don't know (depending on what it is). Bad things that matter to me are a deal breaker for me when it comes to attraction.

(Anonymous) 2020-04-17 03:37 am (UTC)(link)
That makes sense. Likewise, but yes, even being 'bland' or 'basic' is also a deal breaker.

When secrets like this show up, I always wonder

(Anonymous) 2020-04-16 10:34 pm (UTC)(link)
How do some people not recognize how subjective taste can be?

When I don't find someone funny or attractive or interesting, I don't assume that nobody else does either. While I am sometimes surprised by how many people like or dislike something, that has to do with my assumptions about popularity, which is generally based on limited sources.

+1

(Anonymous) 2020-04-17 12:02 am (UTC)(link)
Like yeah, people like different things all the time, it's just taste and perspective. I know there's been a lot of times where I've been surprised at just how much people might love/hate something but it's not like don't get it.

(Anonymous) 2020-04-16 10:56 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't know how you would even be able to tell a celebrity has a bland personality unless you know them personally. I guess if you consume a lot of interviews and social media posts, but even us unwashed masses are not always genuine in those contexts and some people might be reticent in interviews out of nerves or shyness.

What even is a bland personality, anyway? The person is quiet? They like things you find boring? They don't wear their heart on their sleeve?

(Anonymous) 2020-04-17 03:18 am (UTC)(link)
They look dead in the eyes and don't express any emotion.

(Anonymous) 2020-04-17 11:00 am (UTC)(link)
yeah the least they could do is dance for my entertainment, monkeys. they're being paid to be as obnoxiously extroverted as possible

(Anonymous) 2020-04-16 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
That's the thing about people, they can do things you can't.

I'm primarily curious as to who the secret maker thinks is bland....

(Anonymous) 2020-04-17 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
OP, have you never experienced the joys of toasted white bread with butter?

(Anonymous) 2020-04-17 03:04 am (UTC)(link)
Of course I have. Simple and delicious! But a stale or moldy slice of bread? No thanks. Some celebrities have personalities that are equivalent of stale, moldy bread and yet they have fans somehow.

(Anonymous) 2020-04-17 09:40 am (UTC)(link)
ayrt

lol

That's what the toasting and buttering do - salvage the stale with flavor only their imagination can provide.

As for moldy, well...that passes bland and goes into foul -- and even then some people are willing to try to cultivate penicillin off it. Alas.

But really, as long as they find the celebrity attractive enough, some people aren't fazed by the dullness therein. And if they're dull, they provide a blank enough slate the person's desired personality traits can be projected upon. As long as that bread stay's behind the baker's shop window, it can be imagined to be as tasty as you want!
