If you want a weird fandom secret, I have one for you - I wasn't that into Napoleon Dynamite, but I legitimately enjoyed the spin-off cartoon in 2012 and the follow-up comic book series from last fall. IDK why, maybe because both those things weren't as focused on Napoleon and did some more world-building, but I actually thought they were good. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I HATED that film even at the time. I was university aged so you can imagine I was about as popular as a fart in a lift when I mentioned that the main character was fucking annoying/not funny.

Don't know if it counts, but... It's not a secret that I love a guy in a good suit. It's hard to explain that I absolutely fucking LOVE when they sit in such a way that the leg of the suit rides up enough not just to display their sock but a bit of leg as well... Something about the combination of formal and "relaxed enough sprawl" does things to me. [I've tried to explain; people either shrug and tell me that that's just how pants work, which, I mean, yeah, but ... still; or tease me for being all about ankles or feet which... not, that's not it].

Also: silent sex occurring in libraries. [this is only in fiction. In real life, please, gawd, stay out of the stacks, that's rude and unsanitary]

Seduction where the seducer is more experienced and more confident, is suave and charming and attractive, but is also in no way coercive or forceful and respects, while the seduced partner is not completely naive or innocent, but interested in sex and interested in the seducer, simply not yet completely sure of themselves/what/who they want... something exploring both sides of the coin.

It's REALLY hard to search for/find good fic. The balance is delicate with this one. [... if people have recs I'm always grateful...]

I don't really know how to explain it, but I like a massage-like dynamic in established couples. Like, one person is mostly passive, just lying there and focusing on what/how the feel, while the other is actively working to make them feel good, slowly, languidly working them over.

F/M where the guy is usually elegant and eloquent and has a lot of power in some way, but is also physically and mentally fucked up, and therefore totally blindsided by the woman’s interest in him because his self-esteem is basically non existent and he either has no experience or it’s been so long he’s forgotten what little he knew. Meanwhile the woman assumes he’s way more experienced than she is, meant to seduce her when he had no such intention, or both.

ritual or magical sex with monsters/demons where the demon doesn't have the same stake in it as the summoner which results in marathon sessions where the summoner or priest or ritual magical whatever person gets lots of orgasms and the monster or demon doesn't. also more orgasms = more power.
