Healing after a divorce:

Hard Feelings by Lorde

If the divorce was nasty, then maybe Since You’re Gone by The Pretty Reckless.

And if you’re amenable to Taylor Swift, I’d rec Death By A Thousand Cuts, and Clean.

Growing up in an abusive home:

The Sunset Tree by The Mountain Goats is a concept album about growing up in an abusive home, and it’s incredible - very raw. Specifically I’d rec: Up The Wolves, Dance Music, Hast Thou Considered The Tetrapod, Lion’s Teeth - and Pale Green Things, with is a song about the death of an abusive parent and the grown-up child’s struggle to deal with the very complicated emotions of that death.

TV Show by Everclear also seems like it’s talking about an abusive home life.

I can’t think of any upbeat romantic lesbian songs, though obviously Tegan and Sara are a good place to start. Missy Higgins is another lesbian artist with some good tunes. And of course Melissa Etheridge.

I guess This Moment by Melissa Ethridge is fairly upbeat. And very romantic:
