I'm happy as long as it sounds somewhat believable within the universe of the fic.

- If canon does things in a way they wouldn't actually work in real life and the fic copies that? It's fine.

- If the fic is an extreme AU with no basis in reality and the author decides to go wild and make up stuff? I'll accept it.

- If an author writes the Harry Potter characters celebrating Thanksgiving because they couldn't be bothered to do a quick google search? You better believe I'm hitting that back button and reading something else.
