What is everyone doing this weekend?

My sister wants to make a raised garden bed so I will be helping with that. I am also working on a crochet Bill the Duck from AC for my brother in law.

More masks for New York, because finally the 70 yards of elastic and bolts of fabric I ordered from Hancocks came in.

Also working on a FTH fic.

My company has donated a ton of masks we made at our plant. The local electric department was all, "We don't want them because they are MAGENTA, we need black." -__-

What is FTH?

FTH = Fandom Trumps Hate charity auction thingey.

I'm not sure if I'm more envious of philstar for getting awesome fic or of you for your productivity.

Trying to organize a video chat with my friends from high school, which is a bit like herding cats right now. Everyone loves hanging out once we're all online, but I'm the only one who wants to check schedules and work out what time works best for us all beforehand. :P

What do you all do? Just chat and such?

I have to finish a work project at some point tomorrow. other than that, watching some Babylon 5. I was watching Supernatural, but my anxiety has been high this week, and SPN wasn't helping, so I switched. Also lots and lots of sleep because I'm way behind and it is messing with me mentally.

I am not behind on sleep, I am just having a really weird sleep schedule. I hope you are able to get caught up on yours!

Something yarn-oriented. Haven't decided between crochet and embroidery.

Where are you getting your yarn right now? Stock is really low in my local craft stores. Luckily, I have enough of a stash to fiddle around.

Joanne and Walmart. I don't have a local yarn store and the ones where my sister live are all closed right now. Just made a $70 order on Joanne for birthday gifts.

Just hanging out. I went to the grocery today for the first time in a week and a half so I don't need to go anywhere for awhile.

I'm reading a couple good books right now so probably doing some reading, and most of my usual shows are done, so I might find something new to binge.

And I finally got some peanut butter chips (which I've wanted for the past week but didn't want to go out just for them) so I want to try out this new cookie recipe I found.

Ooh, what is the recipe? I love peanut butter. What books are you reading?

I don't know.

Finish watching Castlevania, drink box wine, wallow in writer's block and general anxiety.

I wish I could drink wine again. Got sick off it once, so never again. :(

Homework 'cause I have to go to a really long virtual meeting on Monday. Really not looking forward to that just 'cause meetings are boring.

Yeah, meetings suck. Virtual meetings are even more annoying because no one has mic manners.

Probably doing some catch-up work-work because I spent part of two days this week kind of just staring at the wall and this is stuff that needs to be done by Monday. Other than that: cleaning, baking cookies (thinking of ANZAC biscuits, but Americanized with molasses and corn syrup in place of golden syrup), and maybe venturing to Target in the first time in nearly months to see if they have dish detergent.

I hope you are able to find detergent! Those cookies look delicious.

We're going to make some ANZACs too. Haven't had them in such a long time. They could be really interesting with molasses but I don't think I'd add corn syrup to them.
