It is melodramatic and over the top, but I can't help but enjoy 911. I'm not even sure why because I don't even like most cop shows anymore. But something about this one has grabbed me.

I have just watched this (after the secret last week) and am exactly the same, the first few episodes I thought were ott and then I just got absolutely sucked into the family and melodrama. I ship Buck and Eddie like crazy, and love the Bobby/Athena whole family dynamic.

Mind you - It annoys me that in a show which is *really*inclusive and doesn't feel the slightest bit preachy about it, they do seem to have forgotten that Athena and her ex split when he came out - his boyf disappeared after about two eps and he has been sexless ever since. (But then, I can't remember his name so perhaps I can't talk either.)

This is late and you probably won't see it but I'm glad you're liking the show, and I'm always happy to see new Buck/Eddie shippers! :D

Lol - I love it. I've devoured all episodes and am awaiting the next keenly.

Just starting to check out fic now I'm up to date and missing a fandom space that i'm young enough to understand, desperately!
