I've finally gotten around to reading the Mistborn Trilogy thanks to the epidemic. I haven't wanted to fandom anything this bad in a long time. Do books even have fandoms, though, and where would you find a book fandom? Of course, predictably I've got some hero/villain ships and I'm really hoping someone has written a fic or three.

Yes, books have fandoms, though they're less likely to acquire a megafandom than visual media.

You find them the same way you find any other fandom - search around until you come across an active discussion community/tumblr tag/etc. If it's specifically fic you want, though, start here: https://archiveofourown.org/tags/Mistborn%20-%20Brandon%20Sanderson/works
