queer dude here and no. people can kink on whatever they want. enjoying a BL as a fictional romance is the same as enjoying a romance novel as a fictional romance. explicitly presenting it as nonfiction is the problem

i'd feel the same about dudes posting about some hypothetical lesbian relationship and insisting it's not fiction, and i hope you would too

to regulars there, yeah. when it hits twitter and random people start believing it's real, especially those who aren't familiar with r/relationships and/or obvious BL tropes, it gets really dumb really fast
