It is not just you. The website has been a flaming pile of hot shit for years and corporate has no interest in fixing it, even with this new situation for which a viable online platform will be the difference between businesses that thrive and ones that die.

Try clicking on the mask-making subhead, then "bias tape" because you need bias tape, only for literally all the bias tape to be unavailable online. You can't even BOPIS if you can't get the bias tape to come up, or for all the colors except pink to be "not available at your store" bullshit it's not, the store has been dark for a month so I know for a fact all the tape that was in stock on March 27 is still there.

Also, I work there. Freight, but it's enough for an employee discount and insider info. Corporate has no fucking clue how to manage their supply chain. The only reason they haven't improved? They're the only brick and mortar fabric chain now. So, they can't conceive of the idea that an online-only platform, let alone an online platform that also services brick and mortar stores, is how their competitors operate successfully. All they see is that it's just them and some rando independent quilt shops in some parts of the country so haha they win no need to fix anything.

Ugh, thanks for the validation. It was just so crappy that I thought I was going crazy. What national chain who solicits online ordering would have a website this shitty, ffs?

If I had a better local option, I'd use it. JoAnn's has been going downhill for me ever since they quit carrying a wider range of aida fabric. And another thing I can't believe is that you can't buy DMC floss by individual colors, just sampler packages. I mean, seriously?? Cross stitch patterns usually call for specific colors! I gave up and ordered from everythingcrossstitch.com instead.
