(marvel comics) I love Nathan(Cable) but I can help but I feel he was kinda of a character that was created as sort of a “beta test” to see if the readers would accept certain tropes that would plague comics for years to come (evil twin, time travel, is related to established popular character, …). And Marvel seeing that he was well received, started to use this tropes all the time.
