Probably intelligence work for the government.

Or one of those Jurassic Park type Palaeontologists who finds massive intact fossils all the time.

Or something in the arts that actually pays well enough to live comfortably on.

Oooooohhhh, intelligence work for the government is a fun idea. Not a field agent though, one of the analysts who sits in a cool office and just learns interesting information and knows secrets and says awesome stuff about the spy world being a wilderness of mirrors and things like that.

Maybe magical intelligence work for the government would be even more fun though.
