"They have two hands" is stupid if it is meant to be a serious reason to ship and not a joke. Like, really? How about give us reasons why the three characters work together? I often poly ship, but only when I think the dynamic works. I wouldn't just randomly throw characters together, even to fix a love triangle.

I feel like this phrase is meant to be a joke, but it seems like a pretty dumb joke to me and seems like a passive aggressive way of telling people that OT3ing is better than OTPing. Which it isn't. Shipping is just shipping, no way is better than any other way.
