da but see, to me, I don't understand why people would want to waste their energy on something they hate. If I hate something, I just... ignore it/don't engage with it. I'll share my opinion on it if people ask, but why would I want to waste the time and energy writing a screed about how much I hate something when I could be putting that same time and energy towards something I enjoy?

AYRT - People ITT have explained this already several times. If you prefer to keep your negative opinions to yourself, that's fine. If you prefer to express them, that's also fine. What's crappy is treating people who DO want to civilly express their negative opinions like they're doing something wrong. They're not.

What you're doing here is basically arguing, "I don't personally have any use for this particular freedom, so nobody should complain if said freedom is obstructed."
