Tentacle porn has never been associated with bestiality as far as I've know it, though I was never much of a fan of it to begin with, so there is that.

Tentacle porn (and really the tentacles don't have to be octopus like? they could just be tendrils of...IDK shadows or anything?) is more about the being held down/penetrated by multiple things or whatever than it is about what the tentacles themselves are. So yeah I've never associated it with beastiality if anything it'd be closer to monsterfucking IMO.

The Dream of the Fisherman's Wife--one of the oldest and most famous examples of tentacle porn--is very much a depiction of human-octopus sex, rather than a human being penetrated by amorphous tendrils, etc. I'd say bestiality and tentacle porn are definitely overlapping kinks, though you're right that tentacle porn is much bigger than just that. (And one of my favorite things about the kink is how many flavors of it there are to explore, all of them interesting in their own ways.)
