Not sure whether this is a troll or not, but...

I understand being disappointed in not getting what you're used to, but this seems extreme.

People drift apart, especially from fandoms. At least they're still paying any kind of attention to your stories. My fandom friends bailed over 15 years ago but then, they never owed my fics any sort of attention in the first place. Sure, I sometimes secretly wish they would, out of the blue, drop a comment, but it's so unlikely these days and I don't expect it to happen.
