If she's American - and I think she is, though I could be wrong - then her culture *is* American, even if hyper-religious. She's on YouTube, so i'd say that she's not in some separate little world or anything and yes, she's 'missed out'.

It's not a tragedy, but from the wording of the secret and a couple comments, I'd say she's aware of it.

The YouTuber is white, American, and grew up in Ohio. So yeah, there's absolutely no question she's missed out on some stuff and anyone who tries to spin it differently is doing so for reasons that go beyond logic.

Question is, was it anything of value? I say no.
