I like some of their quizzes, a fair amount of their listicles, some of their entertainment news, and I think their investigative reporting can be very informative (WWF, Russian deaths in the UK, etc.).

I will say that their advertising sometimes drives me up the wall - not the advertising itself, but the bandwidth it can take up (I usually only look at it on mobile because that browser handles it better) and the way it loads, causing content to jump around the page.

nayrt - I hate when I'm looking at quizzes of buzzfeed on my phone and I have to wait for the page to load all the way before I click on any links because an ad might load elsewhere on the page and bump the link I want out of the way :(

That is the most annoying thing in the world. It does that on PCs, too.

I'm not claiming to be an expert but being a Russian and having talked to a friend who's into politics, memoirs, articles, etc, as well as googling some things myself, I gotta say that these reportings turned me off from the site.
I hate when people say "I'm ~Nationality" like it makes their opinion the ultimate truth. But political articles on buzzfeed as well as reddit are often misleading, and I'm not talking just about Russia. I still go on reddit for fandom comms tho.
