Are there any new things you've gotten into?

I've just started watching The Great. Only watched episode 1 so far, plan to watch the rest this weekend. It is great so far, in spite of having a very lose hold on the actual history. Russian history is an interest of mine, and yet the fact that this series openly chooses to not be strictly historical works in this case. It is just really well done (I think anyway, we'll have to see how the other episodes are).

Also have been watching Penny Dreadful: City of Angels and am enjoying that so far. I never watched the first Penny Dreadful show past the first few episodes. But the premise of this spin-off interests me much more, and plus Natalie Dormer is always amazing.

Ohh, I've been meaning to check out The Great!

For me, I started reading The Black Jewels Trilogy after that secret a while back saying they didn't like it... I'm thoroughly enjoying it myself but can TOTALLY see why the secret maker didn't

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like it for the same reason the secret maker didn't, but at the same time everything else about that series sounds like something I would love. I love the general idea of the plot and characters. I love dark fantasy like that. So I'm sad that the element is there and ruins it. I may check them out of the library at some point TBH.

Yeah forreal, even at the end of the first book there are parts that made me have to stop and put it down. But I'm invested now so I have to see how it ends!

It’s not new, but I finally have time to watch the Sailor Moon DVDs my friend gave me two years ago. I finished Sailor Moon S today. It’s the season I most liked when I was a kid, but for a bunch of reasons, I never actually finished it. I finished it today and found it kinda anticlimactic. I thought there’d be more of a showdown at the end, but nope.

Sorry it was a bit of a letdown.

I think the most recent thing that I got into that has a fandom is Gideon The Ninth. but I haven't read the second book in the series yet, so, womp womp

Not new but just got done watching the last season of Schitt's Creek and I am missing it already :(

I binged it all last night and it's sad knowing there's no more episodes to wait for. I may have cried a little bit.

i just started watching the last kingdom on netflix and today there was a secret about it. Good to know its not completely dead. I am only in season 1 still, just 1 or 2 more episodes to go.
not sure what to think of uthred bc dear fucking goooood your man pride doesnt get hurt if you listen to your elders/more experienced folks ONCE DUDE! the stupid is strong with him.
But hes handsome so hes got that going for him.

Well, I'm finally catching up on the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and I only have two episodes left to watch. Might do that this weekend. It's kind of silly for all its grimdark edginess, but I still like it, even if there are a lot of parts where I can't look at the screen because I'm a huge wuss about gore. I'd be lying if I didn't say the main appeal of the show for me are the presences of Miranda Otto, Michelle Gomez, Tati Gabrielle, and now Skye P. Marshall, because I'm just too gay to function.

I also recently binge-watched the first season of Infinity Train, which I loved so much, especially when Kate Mulgrew was talking, because as I mentioned before, I'm too gay to function, and it was ever a pleasant surprise to find out she played a recurring character! Also, I want to live in the corgi car.

Mostly been watching YouTube videos - saw one on Furby fakes and several on lost media by blamejorge. Also been watching Sanders Sides and A Very Potter Musical/A very Potter Sequel.

Did see the Doom movie too and damn the ending was weird.

I've been watching a lot of youtube vids lately too, though in my case I've been watching metal music ones.
