Do you mean, Jane Austen's Emma? Have you... actually read that book? Because I have and it's very, very clear that Emma's problem is NOT that she's an incompetent woman child who can barely take care of herself. Her problem is that she thinks too highly of herself, her opinions and her ability to decide things for others. Her growth as a character is that she learns to dial that back because she ends up hurting people and landing herself in super awkward situations.

I mean, I don't even like her as a heroine very much, but she's very obviously not what's being referred to in the secret. I'm not sure whether your reading comprehension skills are poor, or if you're trying to make a point but doing it very badly.
