Yup. And up until now my dad has been as annoyed as I have been with those people. But now that it is him, he suddenly can't see that he's doing the exact same thing. He's insisting he'll wear a mask and bring disinfectant spray, and so he's totally being careful enough and not at all like those other selfish people.

That's a big problem I see a lot of, too. Out of all the people who nominally support social distancing and being careful, there's a significant percentage who are just full of shit. They're paying lip service to the idea, but in real life, they don't think it REALLY applies if, for example, they want to go visit their grandkids two states away or get their nails done. Then they get offended because they're being responsible!! Why do you have a problem with this??!

Yup. Hopefully mom and I can talk him out of it before Monday.

Good luck with that. If it turns out that you can't, hopefully you can convince him to take more precautions, such as showering thoroughly and changing his clothes as soon as he gets home.

Yeah, I have coworkers visiting family, going on mini vacations, getting professional massages (hope they use hand sanitizer instead of oil) and I am terrified every time I have to take the bus to work.
