honey lamb, no-one is saying you have to read the books. no-one gives a shit, in fact. read or don't read whatever you want. just don't stand there and point at a character who's described in-text as being obnoxious and shout 'he's obnoxious!' and act as though we should all be surprised by this stunning insight.
