I also don't put it past Hollywood for one fucking second to choose a less talented actress for a role just because she's thinner/more attractive. Not for one second.

Oh hell yes. From everything I've seen, they do this all the fucking time. (I'm a BG actor, so I get to see a little bit more of the industry than most people, though as someone who isn't pursuing acting, I don't get to see a ton of the ins and outs of that world.)

It's actually something I've complained about before, myself. The amount of the time they cast a mediocre actress who's a ten, instead of a fantastic actress who's an eight or nine. Like, oh no, god forbid you cast someone capable of elevating your shitty writing and actually bringing the character to life. Nope. You're gonna cast someone who brings nothing to the part that isn't right there on the page, because she's the hottest, and you're a sexism hack.

*sexist, not sexism. Lol. Although sexism hacks sound like they could be useful.

"Try these seven sexism hacks that all Hollywood producers hate! Number three will surprise you!"

-Some random site that makes money off of ads and clickbait articles, probably.

Hahaha! Precisely.
