After watching the first Gremlins movie I was terrified that there was one under my bed. I refused to put my toes anywhere near it, and would take running jumps to get onto it XD

Ah, the Gremlins movie always scared me as a kid too. It didn't scare me enough to not watch it with my sisters but it always gave me that sick to your stomach vibes. I think it's because I though the Gremlins looked weird and uncanny.

Some of the scary-movies-but-made-for-younger-audience movies are more creepy and unsettling than legit rated R horror movies. How I'll never know.

The Halloween movies always gave me creeps too and the stampede scene in The Lion King.
