I don't know if this counts as a genre, but all I want to do right now is search for old breaking news coverage of various events on YouTube.

Ooh, that sort of thing sounds interesting, I'll have to check out those links.

I kinda do the same thing with weather videos-I'll go on YouTube on occasion and see clips from when local news stations were covering some tornado outbreak or something like that. It's interesting to get a glimpse into how other news stations do things (or did things, if it's an old broadcast), and see the general reaction as it was happening.
