Yes, but writing it from his POV makes it completely clear that he's a creep. It might actually be obvious enough that even some fans finally get it. She might actually lose some fans publishing this.

NAYRT Back when it got leaked, my friends and I read the pages during lunch. We were all laughing at how pretty much all of Edward's thoughts were either "Bella smells good" or "How can I murder Bella and get away with it?". We did think he was a major creep, but we still liked the books. I'm not expecting the diehard fans to change their minds about Edward unless the book is really, really, really bad.
