I think it's just a natural product of writers either a.) not really having had sex themselves or b.) not being chatty during sex. It's not supposed to sound like porn, no one really talks like that, but more personal, intimate dirty talk is absolutely stellar. When writers get it right, mannnnnn... good stuff.
