Oh wow, I am so sorry. I can't imagine honestly saying that because the novel translation is a trainwreck in terms of writing, IMO. Even from a m/m loving point of view, it's still... not good. I guess if people really, really want to see their ship together in text and don't care if the writing is just cringetastically terrible and LWJ turns into this gruff dominant dude who wants to bang 24/7 and WW turns into a whimpering uke, then... yeah, fine, the novel is "better".

I prefer the adaptation. It's romantic even if it's not explicit and spelled out for the audience and it stays in character. I'm free to imagine their romance with an in-character ending that doesn't read like it was written by a 14 year old slash fan.

AYRT Yeah I love the adaptation. I gave the novel my best shot because I wanted more information, but I'm good just....ignoring it otherwise. I've only ever recced the drama.
