1) I don't personally post WIPs anymore because I've left too many unfinished, but I used to post WIPs to kinda give myself a "boost" to write because people would comment on them asking for more. I'd never say I didn't know where I was going with a fic though.

2) I thought people posting that their fics suck was an attention-seeking thing combined with a low self-esteem thing. At least, that was the case with me, but it's been a long time since I've said something to that effect in the author notes and I don't do it anymore because it's weird and a turn off for readers.

Questioning anon

1) I would feel so much pressure to finish something if I posted it half done. I only ever signed up to one chellenge/exchnage because the pressure of HAVING to finish it or else let someone down was overwhelming!
