It's not that he likes him in the anime/manga/movies or anything like that. It's simply referring to the characters we play ourselves and how much like them we are. Also, we both enjoy the ship, even though we also know it isn't going to easily happen. Whenever we RP it, we always make sure to do so in an IC way, and that is what's challenging.

Blah, blah. You keep copy/pasting this to everyone that tells you your wonderful relationship is kinda fucked up if you really are like the two of them.

If you meant it about how well you two RP, then you should've said so in the actual secret. The way you put it out there makes it appear that you actually think this girl is like L (which I doubt), and you are like Light (which I also doubt, or you would've phrased the secret in a much clearer way). And that relationship is not a good one.

If I had stated it clearer int he secret, it would have mucked up the picture. I felt the picture itself was saying enough and I shouldn't have to explain that I was referring to the completely canon relationship.

We aren't exactly like them, no, we just have several characteristics like them.

So, you thought the pretty fanart would clarify the tidbit that you then had to tell everyone after the fact?

BRILLIANT. Obviously, you have many of Light's characteristics. Like the belief that everything he does makes total sense, even when it clearly doesn't.

The fan art was supposed to show that it was a happy relationship. If I had placed canon pictures of the two then it would have been obvious that I had meant it canonly, and we, therefore, had a fucked up relationship.

But I placed a fan art of the two together and happy. Sure, it's not likely in canon, but in this apparent fan-verse, it's something that is there in the picture, and, therefore, not a bad thing.

Also, if I had said too much ON the secret, then, if she saw it, it might be too obvious, and I don't want that just yet.

But then you still entirely explained your secret in all the comments, regardless of trying to be all selectively secretive. Therefore, failing completely.

No, actually, I haven't said anything that gives me away in my comments. I have simply explained myself so as to show that I'm not referring to a 'fucked up relationship,' but something different, and as to why I chose that couple instead of one that made more sense canon-wise.

Honestly, it's the OP who keeps responding to my, "But you did it wrong," posts that I think is being a bit defensive. If you post an unclear secret, you shouldn't be all, "Well, you should've interpreted it this way." Just admit you should've been clearer to begin with, and move on. And if it's too personal a secret to post, then, WOW, don't post it.

I didn't read all of the comments, but it seems to me you're just looking for a fight. Sometimes I wonder if anybody has anything better to do than to crap on something that makes another person, happy, lol.

Oh. And I know the L this person is talking about. It is scary how similar they are to L as far as character traits are concerned, but obviously they aren't convinced they ARE L, and this person isn't convinced they ARE Light.

Anyways, just tossing that out there. Maybe if you were less abrasive you'd actually be able to wrap your mind around the pleasant intention behind this secret, and you'd realize not EVERYTHING secret is meant to be taken so literally to begin with.

I don't recall ever stating that they thought they were the characters. Good to see you jumping to conclusions after admitting you didn't read all the comments!

Also, if you paid attention to everyone commenting on the secret, everyone misinterpreted it, because the OP admittedly didn't explain themselves properly to begin with.

You don't write "I found the X to my Y," when you really meant, "I found the perfect person to RP X and Y with, and I think I like them in more than a platonic way," and expect people to understand what you meant to say. This isn't

roleplaysecrets, after all.

roleplaysecrets, it helps if you actually mention that this is stemming from roleplay. If not, then it's not surprising that everyone assumes the OP is just referring to the relationship the two characters have in canon.

Did I ask for a repost? No, because I know what you wrote. And it still makes sense that if YOU thought that THEY had a post that would be better suited to another place, you could have SAID SO GENTLY without coming across as somebody who was looking to pick a fight.

What I mean is, the way you approached the topic was unnecessarily harsh.
