Is it because you’re worried you’d get a big backlash if your fanworks aren’t up to your fandom’s purity standards?

I was a over a year ago on Tumblr when things got BAD in terms of how every little thing was problematic no matter what you did. Thankfully I could not give less of a crap about people like that now (and the block button helps from time to time).
I just want no part of the uwu purity crowd - especially where you get THAT user who decides to go on a rampage about who to block or some rant telling people what not to do or else you're a bad person. I say my thank you for the nice comments on my works and make sure to avoid any mention of purity because that's their thing not mine.
