I've been wanting to read more Terry Prachett's works after reading Color of Magic and Mort (does Good Omens count if he co-wrote it? because if so that too) - Is this book a stand-alone or part of an order in the discworld series?

I think all of the Discworld books are more or less standalone, you can read them out of order if you want.

Michael Crawford’s (original ALW stage phantom) character, Frank Spencer, in a British sitcom called Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em, who was a total doofus. Crawford was mostly known for playing him when the musical opened and it was kind of a shock that his phantom ended up a sex symbol because, well, doofus.

Maskerade is one of the Witch books. The Witch books are Equal Rites, Wyrd Sisters, Witches Abroad, Lords and Ladies, Maskerade, and Carpe Jugulum.

It's one of The Witch books, but there's very little you actually need to know about the characters and you can pick it all up pretty easily from the book itself. It's The Witches going to Ankh Morpork. It doesn't really rely on previous knowledge, although it wouldn't hurt.

If you wanted to read Wyrd Sisters and then Lords and Ladies first, those are really first-rate books as well. The other Witches books aren't bad but are not quite as strong.
